Since the weather is more favourable for pic posting than gardening, there's a few shots from the famous arboretum in Inistioge Smile

Thanks so much for letting us see your pics pannaannap. The Noble Fir Walk is unreal, like land of the giants. I didn't know anything like it existed in Ireland. A visit going in my diary I think. Wink

You're welcome. I will try and add more pictures from other places soon. It's just a matter of finding some time to comb through my picture folders Smile
Woodstock definitely is a must-see one. Some of the tree specimens are supposed to be the biggest in Europe.
And the village itself is really picturesque as well.
The entrance fee isn't expensive either. you only pay €4 (as far as i remember) for parking your car, regardless of how many people there is in it Smile

P.S.
I agree about the Noble fir walk, it's just unreal!

Sive, I'm almost sure the tree at the entrance is one of the native oaks (judging by the habit). I don't actually remember checking what it was so i must have thought it was obvious at the time Smile It might be a narrow-leaved variety, looking at it now.
The leaves are just very dense and might look like compound ash leaves from the ditance.

Cooler, thanks for the nomination Wink
