is this MYOB?
it's growing in my front garden, which is not an issue, but i inadvertently transferred it to the veg patch in my back yard - it doesn't seem to root deeply, so will it be a problem?

Looks like mind your own business or babies tears as some people. It thrives in damp partially shaded soil and I see a fern in your pic so that is another indicator. The weed is a real problem if you let it into your lawn but in the veg garden a shot of Glyphosate such as roundup should be enough to clear it.
