I noticed over the last couple of years that garden centres and DIY shops tend to sell the same bulbs - daffs, lillies, tulips, etc. Can anyone recommend an online shop that sells more unusual bulbs. I am not sure what I am looking for, but something different. I had a look at the Bakker site and as mentioned on another post - the colours are way out there man!. Are they reputable? Any other recommendations?

How about Alliums? Homebase have a selection on offer this week. Here's a really cool pic of Allium giganteum, also loads of other bulbs if you click on the fall index:

Here in the centre we do a direct order scheme where customers can order any thing from the catalogue - the only condition is that they buy it in the outer size, ie Tulips in 125, Narcissi in 125 etc etc. We do the same on Rose Bushes - offering some 2000 varieties.
