Well we are putting up the trellis this weekend and I need to plant climbers to grow up it. I'd love recommendations for climbers that meet the following criteria:
- Not poisonous or prickly for children.
- Some to be evergreen
- Some to grow fast for privacy
- They won't strangle other shrubs or trees growing nearby (or is this just me needing to prune them?)
- Colour + fragrance would be nice for some
Many thanks. |

Wisteria
Jasmine
Clematis
Lonicera (honeysuckle)
Hedera (variegated ivy)
Ampelopsis
Actinidia
Hydrangea
Why not consider apple or pear trees
Hope this helps
