Hi Folks,
Lookin for a bit of advice with ride on mowers...
I'm thinking about changing my MTD lawnmower. Its getting a bit old and it isnt up for some of the tasks i ask of it. I use it for pulling a little diy tipper trailer, dethatching rake, spike aerator and recently I bought a 48in core aerator. The little 13hp is struggling to pull the stuff up my slight gradient, so either the transmission belts are on the way out or the HP isnt big enough...
heres a pic of the lawnmower taken a few years ago when it was shiney and nice...
I'd like something the same shape... i'e I dont like the craftsman style where you feel like you are sittin on top of the lawnmower 4 ft in the air... (the mtd, you are low to the ground and it feels "tractor'ish")
I haven't tried many other mowers for fit yet apart from a craftsman, looking for manufacturers and models you might recommend.
thanks,
Quincy |
