Hi Blackbird.
The photo is of a makeshift gate at a friends house on the outskirts of Carndonagh. The ladder is put in place to keep the cows from entering a place where the washing is held up. Nothing too deep and meaningful, but I do like the depth of perspective and the colours!
Cheers

Thanks for that Richard.
I have pixilated eyes at the moment because of spending too much time on the computer. I got my long vision back tonight out in the garden. I have been collecting hazel rods for the beans and peas. It's been a great evening but the midges were out in force!
I'm still learning about putting blogs together. As they grow they get more difficult to navigate. I can see a web site coming on!
Cheers again

Hi all
I have added a moon cycle image on my blog site that shows if it is a waxing or waning period.
There is a lot of evidence to prove that the position of the moon is very important when considering work on the garden. It gives me a chance to sit back, relax and enjoy the fruits of my labours occasionally!
Cheers!!

| inishindie, you know the way the moon affects the tides, with global warming, rising sea levels, what do you think the outcome will be, overall? |

Hi Shefra
I can honestly say that I haven't a clue!
Predictions are not my strong point and there are loads of conflicting messages thrown around so it is very difficult to make an informed decision. I suppose if I knew I could join a growing number of people that are cashing in on the issue ( There was an interesting bit in the Times on Sunday that said the Green Fuel business is responsible for the devastation of land and homesteads .
All I can offer is a link that will confuse you even more about a rising tide theory!

Has anyone else any ideas as I am at a loss!!
Cheers

A lot of money to be made on supposed alternative "green" methods alright Ian. I suppose its an ill wind that blows no good. _________________ Q. What is the best soil for growing plants?
