| I transplanted a fastia 3 weeks ago . It seemed to be doing well and was well watered and fed with a seaweed compound .During the last 3 days the leaves have started going yellow. It started at the base of the shrub and has made its way to the middle. Its 5 feet tall and I would hate to loose it.All suggestions welcome |

Hello there mr. You seem to be doing quite an amount of plant moving recently.
I would not worry too much about the Fatsia as it is often common for a plant with large leaves to shed then when transplanted. As careful as you were you will have damaged roots in the move, so the amount of water going to the leaves will be lessened causing some to shed.
Give the transplant a regular twice weekly heavy watering (unless rained on) to help make up for the damaged roots. Carry this out until this time next year.
Good luck. |
