Cool, looking real good. There is so much to see that my eyes are just hopping about the place.
I see we get to put a face to the name now as well. David, could you elaborate a bit more on the aquascapes college. Sounds good. Where did you hear about it, what does it involve, and so on?

Hello again and thanks for commenting on my garden, well how did aquascapes come about.well a few months ago i was out at manor stone in co laois and i saw this beautiful waterfall and pond on display and i enquired to know who did this, the guy i was dealing with there gave me a brochure and contact details of the guy that built it,so i got on to this guy and showed him pictures of my work,to see what he thought you know.
This particular guy happened to represent aquascape designs in america,he s irish and he comes over very frequently from america to do a lot of watergarden projects,he was very impressed with what he saw and he gave me the chance to go out on a project with him for training down in cashel where he recently did a project,he came to my house to see my project that im doing and hes giving me the chance in july to travel out to chicago to the pond college there to be trained and learn more, which is very exciting.
aquascapes is the biggest watergarden design company in america with certified aqauscapes contractors all over the states and basically this is where they teach you everything fom construction to managing your own business, the aquascapes way.
The guy that discovered me is by the name of gerry touhey and basically hes bringing what he learned over there to this country,i will leave you a link to his website and you will see his work.

Fair play to ya David. Lovely work again. Keep the head down to study when you chicago, ask loads of questions and soak Razz up lots of info.
I would love to see that video when you put it up, most especially to hear the sound of the water.

THANKS LADS VERY MUCH APPRECIATE IT,WHEN I VIDEO THE WORK IVE DONE SO FAR,I WILL USE EDITING SOFTWARE TO MAKE IT LOOK GOOD.
MAYBE NEXT WEEK ILL DO THE VIDEO.
I WAS VERY LUCKY I HAD SO MANY ROCKS AROUND THE GARDEN TO USE WHICH SAVED ME A LOT OF MONEY,THE GOLDEN GRAVEL I USED REALLY SET THE LANDSCAPE OFF,AND HIGHLIGHTS EVERYTHING.
MY DESIGN IDEA REALLY WAS TO HAVE DIFFERANT VIEWING AREAS AND FOCAL POINTS FROM EACH VIEW,AND IT WORKED REALLY WELL.
I HAVE TO GET HELP WITH PUTTING THE SKIMMER BOX AND BIO FILTERS IN,GERRY THE GUY THAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT IS COMING OVER FROM AMERICA LATER ON THIS MONTH HOPEFULLY TO GIVE ME A HAND WITH INSTALLING THESYSTEMS.

Looking well David, even for this time of year.
Be careful of those pampas grasses though, because the blades are razor sharp. This can become a real danger if they are planted near pathways. Should a person, especially the elderly and the very young become entangled, when they pull away from the grass they may receive a nasty laceration.

Hi David, any update on the garden since January?
I know July isn't over yet, but let us know how the course goes.

David
You complete the course in US by Aquascape?
Other european manfactures also offer courses designed for the climate and ecosystems of Ireland. I've completed several courses by Oase.
